Batman

Brief Background
Batman is a character who was created by DC comics in 1939. Since then, he has appeared in many comic books, movies and TV shows and has debatably become DC's most popular superhero. His real name is Bruce Wayne, and after his parents were killed when he was a child he trained to one day become Batman and save Gotham City. He also has a very interesting set of enemies including Riddler, Penguin, Scarecrow, Bane and Joker.
Although Batman made many enemies, he also had a lot of allies. First, he adopted a boy named Dick Grayson and he would become the first Robin. However, he eventually grew out of it and changed his name to Nightwing. Batman then adopted another boy named Jason Todd. However, after a mission went wrong this Robin was killed by the Joker. Later, Batman learned that he was still alive and after he escaped Joker he became Red Hood. Batman would also join and have a huge role in The Justice League, which included Super Man, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Aqua Man.
